What’s in a name?

If you have ever experienced the loss of something meaningful, you understand the pain and frustration that accompanies it. Conversely, finding what was once lost brings immense joy and relief. Now, imagine the frustration a child feels when they possess numerous thoughts but lack the words to express them. Similarly, for adults who have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI), the inability to articulate their intricate emotions can be devastating. At Lost & Found, our unwavering commitment lies in assisting our clients in finding their words and embracing their unique voices. We strive for each individual to experience the profound joy and relief that come with expressing both the thoughts in their minds and the feelings in their hearts.

What’s our approach?

Lost&Found Speech Therapy is grounded in a holistic and multi-sensory approach. This means that we seek to make learning a whole-body experience, finding ways to incorporate all five senses in order to promote optimal neural growth. We believe in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration and actively seek opportunities to work alongside other team members and service providers to provide comprehensive care. Our client-centered approach is designed to not only address the individual's needs but also to support their family throughout the therapy journey.

Our methodology is a play-based, meaning we create an engaging and enjoyable environment that facilitates learning. We believe in identifying and leveraging each individual's unique strengths to inform their therapy, fostering a sense of empowerment and love for self.

Through our holistic, collaborative, and client-centered approach, we aim to provide a comprehensive and compassionate therapeutic experience for our clients and their families. We are dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential and achieve meaningful outcomes.
